In all the stories in The BIG Rescue, you will read some amazing things. You will also learn some awesome things about God. When people hear about God, they start to change and want to be friends with God too. So what is God like?

God sent Jesus to show us what he is like...

Jesus showed everyone he met that God loves them and cares for them. He showed them the best way to live.

Some people didn’t want Jesus around telling everyone about God. So they tried to stop him, but God didn’t let their plans work.

What about Jesus’ friends? They learnt from Jesus and helped others to learn about God too. Their story begins with the book of Acts and ends with the book of Revelation.

Jesus thinks kids are great! Yep, that’s right, he really likes you.

Some people thought Jesus wouldn’t spend time with kids, but they were WRONG. God sent Jesus to show how special you are to him. Jesus wants you to be the best you can be, and he wants you to be friends with him and his father, God. Jesus knows that you are not perfect, but he is able to clear away the bad stuff in your life. You can trust God to forgive you for the bad things you have done, and change you from the inside into the best person that you can be — the person God wants you to be!

Jesus is alive today. You can talk to him if you want to. You can’t see him, but he can see and hear you!
