Zimbabawe is in the south-eastern part of Africa. The country got it's name from Great Zimbabwe, Africa's largest stone ruins (after the pyramids). They were once part of a big stone city where over 20,000 people lived.

Life can be very hard in Zimbabwe. Some people don't have enought food to eat, some don't have jobs, some are sick with AIDS while many boys & girls are orphans. Lots of mums & dads, boys and girls, and all sorts of people are starting to go to church because they want to meet God and learn about His good plan for their lives.

The Bible Society makes Bibles in different languages including the one of main languages, English, Shona & Ndebele. This means that boys & girls can pick up a Bible and read all about God in their own language.
