Hi everyone,

Have you ever heard of the countries called Suriname, Guyana & French Guiana? If you had to guess where they were in the world – where would they be?

They happen to be three very small countries that need our help. About half of the population are Christian, but not everyone has access to the Bible. There are many different languages and the Bible still needs to be translated into some of them.

These countries have many different cultures, which makes for an interesting life style. There are also a lot of different food styles, and the people LOVE their food!

They have a variety of animals, especially gorgeous frogs who love living in the jungle. You will learn something of the colourful poison dart frogs as you read through SEEDS.

You will find fun activities, recipes, jokes, puzzles and more. You’ll also see what the Bible has to say about the tongue (not the frog’s … yours!), and how we should speak to others (see Page 8).

I hope you enjoy learning more about Suriname, Guyana and French Guiana and the people living there. They need our prayers, and they need to know more about God by reading his Word – the Bible.
